We investigate the possibility to measure the nonforward gluon distribution function by means of diffractively produced π+π− and K+K− pairs in polarized lepton nucleon scattering. A report on the analysis work in the Salerno Emulsion Laboratory is presented. It is related to the search for ν µ → ν τ oscillations in CHORUS experiment, the calibrations in the WANF (West Area Neutrino Facility) at Cern and tests and preparation for new experiments.

We demonstrate that any scale-invariant mechanics of one variable exhibits not only 0+1 conformal symmetry, but also the symmetries of a full Virasoro algebra. We discuss the implications for the adS/CFT correspondence.
